Bridge Builders is very experienced in connecting North American college groups to non-profit organizations, churches, and community groups throughout Latin America. Their list of contacts and design of educational opportunities throughout Latin America is impressive. Bridge Builders aptly describes the organization's mission-to connect people for the betterment of both cultures. When I think about sending groups to Latin America, Bridge Builders is one of the first groups that come to mind. Kirk McClelland
Bridge Builders took great efforts to carefully organize every detail ofour trips. Their highest priority was always to remove all obstacles so that we could experience true impact from beginning to end. Because of their professionalism we were always right at home in a foreign land.
Working with Bridge Builders gave us the chance as leaders to focus on our in country work rather than stressing over details such sleeping accommodations, translators and transportation. From the moment we landed in Guatemala Bridge Builders staff were there to meet us and made sure we always had everything we needed. They were aware of the little details that we were not aware of (such as the altitude change and making sure we had water) and were always right on top of any requests we made. This trip went so smoothly and I give all the credit to Bridge Builders!
Bridge Builders is an organization I can recommend without reservation. I have been fortunate to have made at least 10 different trips with them to South America in Peru and Ecuador and in Central America to Guatemala and El Salvador and all have been very rewarding. The Bridge Builder liaisons who accompany our work teams are very competent, well versed in the languages spoken in each location, and in each case have had a personality that is fun to work with, and very dedicated to what the mission team is trying to accomplish. Chris Eaton, has a unique skill in finding personalities in the people that he hires, who always leave me feeling like I'd like to know them better as friends. A week of working shoulder to shoulder with them accomplishes the very important goal of improving international relationships, forming new friendships with people of a different culture, and it feels like a vacation at the same time.
