Hugo is a native of Guatemala and has been in the adventure travel business for years. He is nearing is 500th hike up Pacaya (an active volcano in Guatemala)! Hugo is the resident expert on all that is interesting and adventurous in Guatemala. He also combines his love of the outdoors with a deep concern for the needs of the poor in Guatemala.

Hugo is married and has two children (which keeps him busy when not hiking volcanos). A week with Hugo is not to be missed and your experience of Guatemala will be richer!
