Lucia is our newest member of the team! She is a native of Guatemala with roots in Europe.  Lucia has lived in several countries and brings to your team a knowledge of Spanish, English, French and German! From her early years she decided that languages would be one of her loves and she has pursued it with passion! When not on a team she currently works with her family in a self-sustainable project (organic, ecologic, alternative medicines, alternative energy, etc.).  Being on teams allows her to pursue one of her passions in Guatemala "community development" and she loves to pitch in as team members make a difference in a village.

Lucia is the vegan of the team so you can always get on her good side by offering her raw nuts and vegetables (but don't worry meat lovers team members on her teams still get meat and breads! Lucia is fun and energetic and your experience will be enhanced by her presence with your team!

Lucia has a joy for life and a sense of humor that brightens every day.  Her passion for Guatemala's culture and history, and her love and compassion for people is infectious.  Our trip would not have been complete without Lucia.  Craig Hancock, Team Leader Guatemala 2010
