Brandon Hyde

Brandon joined the Bridge Builders staff in April of 2005.

Born and raised in Buford, Georgia, Brandon left his hometown to study in California. At Stanford University, Brandon majored in ultimate frisbee and minored in Civil Engineering. After finishing at Stanford, Brandon ventured down to Guatemala (leaving his El Camino and mullet behind) to work with a Guatemalan civil engineering and construction firm. It was during this time in Guatemala that Brandon came across Bridge Builders. Brandon helped lead a team in Guatemala in February of 2005. It was this trip that sparked Brandon’s passion for the work that Bridge Builders does, helping him decide to join the staff in April.

When not leading teams or looking for new projects, Brandon loves to be outside. Whether it be catching waves on a surfboard or loading up the backpack for a hike in the mountains, being surrounded by nature recharges Brandon. Other hobbies include painting and dancing salsa.
